Our Story
FurBabySit's journey began in 2017 when a U.S. Air Force Senior Airman faced the challenge of finding a pet sitter for her beloved dog, Cash, right before a last-minute deployment. With countless options falling short, she turned to a fellow airman for help. To her delight, the airman agreed to take care of Cash and even packed a bag of essentials to stay at her home. Throughout her deployment, she received heartwarming daily updates, with adorable photos and videos, assuring her that both Cash and her home were in great hands.

Upon her return, the Senior Airman continued praising the exceptional care Cash received, and word quickly spread among pet parents seeking reliable pet-sitting services. Recognizing the strong demand for trustworthy and affordable pet care, the airman created a group of like-minded sitters, and FurBabySit was born. In 2022, we officially launched as a pet services marketplace, utilizing personality testing to match pet parents with the most compatible sitters. Our heartfelt mission is to provide peace of mind to pet parents, by recommending sitters that we feel will be the best fit for their fur babies.
